Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment to Accessibility
MyEdSpace is committed to ensuring that our website and online learning platform are accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that every student — regardless of ability — deserves access to high-quality math instruction, and we are actively working to make our digital products meet that standard.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, and learning impairments. We also seek to comply with applicable US federal accessibility law, including Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Current Conformance Status
MyEdSpace is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of our website and platform do not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria. We are a growing company and our platform continues to evolve; accessibility improvements are an ongoing priority rather than a completed project.
We conduct periodic accessibility reviews and act on the findings as part of our regular product development cycle. We have not yet commissioned a full independent third-party audit of our platform; that remains a goal we are working toward.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, we are aware of areas where our platform falls short of full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. Known limitations include the following:
Some interactive components on the site — including certain dropdown menus and dynamic content areas — may not be fully navigable by keyboard alone, and may not present adequate focus indicators for users who rely on keyboard navigation. We are working to bring these components into conformance with WCAG 2.1 success criteria 2.1.1 (Keyboard) and 2.4.7 (Focus Visible).
Some images and graphical elements across the site may lack descriptive alternative text, which affects users who rely on screen readers. We are conducting a systematic audit of image alt attributes and updating them on a rolling basis.
Color contrast ratios in certain secondary text elements and interface labels may not meet the minimum 4.5:1 ratio required under WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast Minimum). We are addressing these issues as part of ongoing design revisions.
Third-party tools and embeds used on our platform — including our live class video conferencing environment — may be subject to their own accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control. We engage with our technology partners on accessibility matters and select providers who take these standards seriously.
Live Classes and Accommodations
MyEdSpace live classes are conducted via video conferencing. We recognize that this format may present barriers for some students, including those with hearing impairments, visual impairments, or other disabilities that affect participation in a live video environment.
We are pleased to provide accommodations for students who need them. Accommodations we can offer or arrange include, but are not limited to, written summaries of class content, extended time for exercises, and adjustments to how we deliver or present instructional material. If you or your student requires an accommodation in order to participate fully in MyEdSpace classes, please contact us at accessibility@myedspace.com before enrollment or at any point during your subscription. We will work with you to find a solution.
We do not currently provide live captions in our video sessions as a default feature, but we are actively evaluating captioning solutions and will update this statement when that changes. In the meantime, requests for captioning support will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Technical Specifications
The MyEdSpace website and platform are built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Our web application is designed to be compatible with the following browsers and assistive technologies:
Browsers supported: Google Chrome (latest two versions), Mozilla Firefox (latest two versions), Apple Safari (latest two versions), and Microsoft Edge (latest two versions).
Assistive technologies: We design and test with consideration for screen readers including NVDA and JAWS on Windows, and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS. We also aim to support users who navigate via keyboard only, and users who rely on browser-level zoom and text scaling.
Older browsers, or browsers with non-standard configurations, may not render all accessibility features correctly. We recommend keeping your browser updated to ensure the best experience.
Requesting Accessible Formats
If you need any content provided by MyEdSpace — including class materials, handouts, or policy documents — in an alternative accessible format, please contact us at accessibility@myedspace.com. Please describe the content you need and the format that would work best for you (for example, a Word document, large print PDF, or plain text file), and we will do our best to fulfill your request in a timely manner.
Reporting Accessibility Issues
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the MyEdSpace website and platform. If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from accessing any part of our service, or if you believe we are not meeting our accessibility commitments in any area, we want to hear from you.
Please send your feedback to accessibility@myedspace.com. In your message, please describe the specific issue you encountered, the browser and assistive technology you were using, and the page or feature affected. We will acknowledge your report within five business days and aim to provide a substantive response or resolution within thirty days.
Formal Complaint Process
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you have the right to escalate your complaint. MyEdSpace is subject to US federal law governing digital accessibility, including Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (as amended) and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Complaints relating to Section 508 may be submitted to the relevant federal agency with oversight responsibility for MyEdSpace's activities. Complaints relating to ADA Title III may be filed with the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division. You may also have the right to seek recourse through private legal action under applicable law.
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly at accessibility@myedspace.com before initiating a formal complaint, as we are committed to resolving accessibility concerns constructively and promptly.
Policy Review
This Accessibility Statement is reviewed periodically and updated to reflect progress on our accessibility improvements, changes to our platform, and developments in applicable accessibility standards. We are committed to making continuous, measurable progress toward full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance and will update this statement as that work advances.
